Reading Assignment for Navy SEALs, Congress, and Sarah Palin

The Art of War, by Sun Tzu. Last sentence of #17 and #18 is where to place your focus, please, regarding punching prisoners. Apply same logic for torture situations.

Please also read the rest of the book while there is still time. Links below book embed will explain why I bring this topic up.

... put their lives on the line for this country...
So - who is responsible for the safety of a prisoner - doesn't the person who put the handcuffs on the prisoner accept responsibility for captive's safety? Where does beating the prisoner come into play? Or does being a Navy SEAL mean you can just beat prisoners in captivity - no trial -because you as a Navy SEAL are more special than everyone else in the military I suppose-at least that's how it works in the movies and on Fox.

  2. Thanks anon above - great point.

I know Glenn Beck's show portrays him as well read - so I may have missed the line in Sun Tzu's book where he says "shoot 'em in the head" - I will have to go back and re-read to make sure.

It's really something - when one reads this book by Sun Tzu - or even easier - click on the upper left pic on this blog for somebody to read it to you -

    We are doing EVERYTHING WRONG.

  3. Wait...I'm wrong - Glenn Beck said it very clearly then repeats : "Shoot HIM In The Head... if I were in charge we would interrogate him ....then shoot him in the head"

I wonder if Glenn Beck applies the same standards to women captured? "Shoot Her in the Head?" doesn't have the same ring although in todays society it doesn't seem as radical as in years past.

Wow - and they want to shut down blogs like this one for harsh language? Where is that buffoon Cass Sunstein when you need to silence someone?
