Its our money paying the bribes as well. The 17th Amendment is Unconstitutional and depriving any one State of its equal representation in the Senate invalidates every Amendment to the Constitution. That also most certainly includes the 14th Amendment, which had to be created by expelling all of the Southern States from the Senate just to get the Amendment passed. Read the thing yourself. Amendments are NOT Unconditional.
