Obama Respects SOME National Customs...
As an American citizen - I wonder why my president, who obviously understands how to show respect for national customs somehow doesn't understand the customs of one particular country... What conclusion should I reach?

Bombs Bursting in Air
First a picture from Charlottesville, Virginia's Fireworks tonight- the pyrotechnic finale impressed.
Here's a kid's site.
Fireworks made me think of the Star Spangled Banner:

Is scandalized throughout the land.

The 4th of July is my favorite holiday because it commemorates our Liberty. Part of the ceremony has been a fireworks display. I don't know what the "Newspeak" people are telling the kids these days but when I was growing up they told me it was to remind us of the sounds of the guns.

I wonder how many fireworks could be purchased to remind Americans of the sounds that secured their freedom if we could drop one fewer of these this year?:
