More Evidence that we don't need no stinkin' revolution...

I don't know whether to laugh or cry...

John F. Kennedy once said:

"I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered at the White House - with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.
John F. Kennedy"

This speech was given at the White House:

"... President JOHN F. KENNEDY, remarks at a dinner honoring Nobel prize winners of the Western Hemisphere, April 29, 1962.Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States: John F. Kennedy, 1962, p. 347."  you can read more here.

Now consider how far we've come:

"Gossip Cop has learned exclusively that President Obama has invited Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony to watch the Super Bowl with him at the White House."  You can read the rest of this non-story here.

Jack Rabbit now says:

"I think this is the most extraordinary collection of dumbf#*kery, of vacuous irrellevance, that has ever been staged at the White House - with the possible exception of when the British burned it down during the war of 1812."

I will not be watching the super bowl, I will not be paying attention to much of what Obama and his wife are up to, and I certainly don't care much about J-Lo and her husband for the moment.

Is this what I'm paying taxes for?  While gitmo lives on?  While American soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines sacrifice their lives for drugs, oil and natural resources amidst wars of aggression based on lies based on torture?  While those responsible for torturing human beings, admitting it on television, remain unpunished?

No - we don't need no stinkin' revolution.

  1. I wonder if the French have any left-over guillotines from their revolution.
Maybe we could borrow a few.

  2. I hope their "love-in" wasn't interrupted while patients went without power:
