Note: I heard a call into the Thom Hartmann show the other day bring up this great point - after Thom was demonizing those asserting their right to bear arms. Thom: message from one of the masses: you are being recorded - and if I were you - I'd be worried because Tarring and Feathering is becoming the latest fad - and if you, as a Zionist, think for a second that Americans fear Israel, the Mossad, or any other group of pussies you support - you will find how sadly mistaken you really are.

The New Strategy of the Fake Left Media

Yesterday I caught parts of the Thom Hartmann and Randi Rhodes radio shows on 1450 AM Charlottesville. As usual they agree on everything - but I listened to a little of each show as I ran my errands around town. What information of value did I gain from my time spent? Nothing.

Thom Hartmann's show consisted of fanning the embers of a racial war-fire, hoping the resulting flames with a little help from the news media would go in the direction of his fake enemy - the "right wing whackos" AKA "Teabaggers" whoever they are. My guess is that the "Teabaggers" are the same as Rush Limbaugh's "Libs" since you can never actually identify one. They always pop up at the perfect moment when a suitable punching bag, or scapegoat, is needed.

Thom read some inflammatory text about whitey beating a black man - then let the flood of calls on the issue pour in. As far as I am concerned, being out of work, I'm hoping a black man calls from one of the places I applied to so I can go to work. A dis-proportionate amount of time was spent on this subject, as the self-proclaimed Israel-firster (Thom said within the last 30 days on his show that he is a Zionist by definition) - as he ignored the expansion of war, the recent attacks on freedom of speech by Cass Sunstein, he ignored that Obombya has extended the USA Patriot Act, that Obombya is ignoring torture, that there is no Habeus Corpus anymore, that the Bill of Rights doesn't matter and on and on.

You see, Thom Hartmann's job is to fan the rage of the masses - hopefully you - and make hay because of remarks yelled during a "protest" - while never mentioning who yelled the "N-word" while the Healthcare thing was going on. With Sarah Palin the spokesmodel for the Tea Party movment and Glenn Beck making up a phony 9-12 movement (they were the ones doing the yelling I've heard) - how can't people see that this thing is probably a set-up? After all - if it DIDN'T happen the fake "progressive" media wouldn't have anything else to yell at their fake enemies "the Teabaggers" about since their agenda is exactly the same.

Their agenda is more proxy war for Israel - starring your kids. More radiation at the airports awaiting your kids - and the pedophiles that always come with pictures of naked kids.

Randi Rhodes - see above - exactly the same crap. Talking over the wise callers who mentioned that you can't blame everyone in a mob for the act of one person anyway - agent provocateur or not. Nope - she never thought about that either!

It's divide and conquer - the right keeps people mad at their fake enemies with the abortion thing - which I haven't heard whether or not the liar-in Chief has signed as he promised. ( If he does it will be his first promise kept.) The left keeps the liar-in-chief in office by painting opposition to his war, debt, death, dictatorship, shredding-of-the-bill-of-rights-while-Constitutional-scholar, ignoring of torture, lack of prosecution for war crimes etc... - by painting people angry about these things as "racists." I'm not buying it.

After all if the country was really full of racists what would account for reality? Obama was elected! The demographics don't agree with these people!

So don't waste your time on these clowns - unless you call them to expose their phony agendas.

Thom Hartmann on local Charlottesville, VA radio misrepresents Cass Sunstein's attacks on Freedom of Speech

Thom Hartmann was on local WINA today. I thought it would be a good chance to give him a jingle. I asked Thom about the recent Cass Sunstein paper where Cass advocates infiltrating groups with the ultimate aim of silencing freedom of speech. Unpopular speech that is.

Thom spoke over me while I was answering a question he posed regarding the details of this Orwellian paper. Thom Hartmann guesses - incorrectly - that I hadn't read the paper. Why would he guess that? I replied that not only had I read the paper carefully, but I had written a blog post on the paper. The blog post I wrote, examining Cass Sunstein's paper is available by clicking the inverted Old Glory at the top left of this blog.

Thom seems to misrepresent and misdirect the discussion - I would urge readers to listen to the podcast and also read Cass Sunstein's paper. Make up your own mind.

Thom Hartmann makes his living with the understanding that freedom of speech is the basis upon which he can speak. Why, I asked him, isn't he as concerned as are the rest of us?

I'm afraid that Thom Hartmann, like most DJ's and TV talking heads - is interested in selling books, calling legitimate Tea Party activists "teabaggers" and forwarding the agenda of Israel - regardless of the consequences for American liberty. He has stated on his show that he is, by definition, a Zionist. For the record - I'm NOT a Zionist. I'm an American - and I take the Bill of Rights - especially Freedom of Speech - very seriously. But I'll probably have to fight for my freedom of speech, Thom has backers.

Note: I heard Thom Hartmann - a supposed lefty - on his radio show yesterday - tell his audience (after taking a call from a knowledgeable caller who asked Thom Hartmann why he doesn't support the national strike coming up on April 15 2010 here in the United States ) that a national strike won't work.

The caller was initially labeled and portrayed by Thom Hartmann as a righty - but the caller dispelled the labels. Thom Hartmann takes the position that the national strike is nothing more than a subterfuge by the Republicans - and that participants are tools and operatives of the Republican party.

Thom Hartmann has not criticized Cass Sunstein (click on inverted Old Glory top left this blog) - why? As a radio show talker Thom makes his money seeming to exercise freedom of speech - but by not supporting the national strike - and by misrepresenting the grass roots nature of the movement - he loses credibility in my eyes.

Rush Limbaugh admits he believes Osama bin Laden is dead on todays show - plus Thom Hartmann DRG interview - so what is the mission in AFPAKistan?

Given: The news today that our peaceful President Obama is sending a bunch more troops to AFPAKistan to die for nothing as in the following article:

He began rolling out his decision Sunday night, informing key administration officials, military advisers and foreign allies in a series of private meetings and phone calls that stretched into Monday."

As the realization dawned on me that yes, indeed, we really are going to continue this AFPAK war based on falsehoods - I decided to take a drive and listen to what the pundits on AM radio had to say. My expectations - the leftys would come up with all kinds of excuses to explain why the President of Peace is morphing into just another Wager of War. The righties would ignore the fact that they started this loser of a war and find ways to pin it on the Democrats. But now - Obama has no way out - instead of ending it - he's getting right in line making the right-wing propaganda stick. Although the following is disorganized - it matches the jumble of memories as I flipped through the various stations - left and right wing.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit listening to the Rush Limbaugh show because the propagandistic nature of it is so obvious to me. Rush is a divider helping maintain the Demopublican vs. Republicrat paradigm that is keeping the American public frustratingly paralyzed- but some sick curiosity within me made me listen to his drivel anyway. Today - on an AM station here in Charlottesville, Virginia at 13:29 Rush said he believes bin Laden is dead - killed at Tora Bora. This was during a rant to his flock saying something to the effect that one should vote Republican and not consider switching to the independent party because third parties are just people standing in a room together shouting while getting nothing done. So, Rush, let's hear you educate us some more from your excellence in bullshitting network - what is the mission in Afghanistan? What is the mission in the AFPAK war? Are they the same? By the way - how is "getting nothing done" different from what is going on now? By 'nothing' I refer to the interests of the non-super-rich in America. You'll never hear answers to these questions on Rush's propagandathon - just like you'll never hear any complete truths or facts from him. His show is light on facts - heavy on red meat blather.

Another AM radio propaganda show, starring right wing shill Fred Thompson, attempted to blame this nightmare on Obama. While answering a caller he said Democrats can't keep bringing up the past - "lead" he said as he referred to Obama taking over the Bushies war in Afghanistan - which - remember - was to "smoke'em out" (bin Laden). Whew - after all those years of guys just like him blaming Clinton for everything under the sun this idiotic blather almost made me puke. I guess we'll have to wait for Obama to tell us the reason our troops need to spend Christmas fighting in an unconquerable land.

Consider this NY times article CLICK HERE where we see the original excuses we were given to embark on a disaster:

His comments appeared in part spontaneous, reflecting a rage that seems to have been building for days, and that aides say was stoked by the horror he witnessed Friday on his visit to New York. "I want justice," he said. "There's an old poster out West that said, 'Wanted, dead or alive."

Later in the same article:

"Secretary of State Colin Powell said that "all roads lead to" Mr. bin Laden as the man behind the four hijackings that yielded the destruction of the World Trade Center in New York, the attack on the Pentagon and a death total exceeding 5,000.

He praised Pakistan for sending envoys to demand that the Taleban government in Afghanistan, which believed to be sheltering Mr. bin Laden, hand him over."

Seems pretty clear to me that the Republicans started this mess ...so what is the mission in AFPAKistan? back to the radio...

A left-wing show host, Stephanie Miller, reacted a little to the news that Obama is sending more of our troops to die for some undefinable reason, but the show was so infantile I just turned it off. I'm sorry Stephanie - I know you have to appeal to your audience - and I know you have to get ratings - but by Jupiter your gonna' have to get tough on these "statesmen" or we're all gonna' go down together. Maybe I'm overestimating the audience. Don't know. I will say Stephanie sounded a bit stunned and at a loss when grasping for reasons to continue supporting our new rock star prez. Maybe the "rock" in his star is in reference to the terrain of Afghanistan. Oh well, I can't get too harsh with Stephanie - after all she called for the execution of sh*tbaugh - on Larry King. Click here where she's beat up for making this comment which was probably a joke. Hell I thought it was funny. My problem with her call for his execution is I didn't hear anything about a trial first.

...so what is the mission in Afghanistan? I've stated in the past that Osama bin Laden has been dead since 2001. Not too long ago people like myself were laughed at for making such assertions based on the research done by David Ray Griffin in his book Osama bin Laden Dead or Alive?

Finally - I heard a bit of the beginning of the Thom Hartmann show - he stated that he isn't giving up on Obama yet. Geez Thom - what on Earth is it going to take? I will, however, say thanks to Thom Hartmann for showing the courage to conduct the following interview of David Ray Griffin which I suggest you listen to. So - what is the mission in AFPAKistan? If bin Laden is indeed dead - we have a 'disconnect' - a disconnect with reality. Unless the mission has more to do with Opium and a purported pipeline. Once one takes into consideration more covert motives, the exercise in futility, the butcher shop that is Afghanistan, begins to take shape. And it doesn't seem to have anything to do with capturing a dead guy.

What can we learn from all of this? We all need to talk - especially with those we disagree with. As long as everybody keeps talking I think we'll be alright. The old saying is "Divide and Conquer" - it is no secret we are divided. Let's listen to why this phony war must be continued, write it down, then hold them accountable - and that may mean trials.
