"Opening a manipulated website or a PDF file could allow criminals to spy on passwords, planners, photos, text messages, e-mails and even listen in to phone conversations, the agency said in a statement.
"This allows potential attackers access to the complete system, including administrator rights," it added, urging users not to open PDF files on their mobile devices and only use trustworthy websites until Apple Inc. publishes a software update."

Note: Apple is just as ruthless as every other American corporation. These privacy issues are good for one thing - to dig up dirt on ordinary people. Has the murder rate dropped since all this silly peeping-tom spying began? Have the wars stopped? What good has it done other than to create a nation of paranoid people afraid of their own shadow while wearing helmet in the shower? This bogus crap has got to stop. I like Apple products but as far as I am concerned they are just as servile to the rest of the fascist state as any other company. Their parts are prohibitively expensive - but their software and hardware redeems itself by being.....useful.

Apple Computer Down
No new posts right now - my MacBook Pro just passed away - looks like a "logic board" which I guess is about a grand from Apple - the "nice" corporation that "cares."
Will look at used stuff I suppose - also can't identify exact specs of computer since there are no appropriate markings on the underside of the laptop.
Whatever.
