a TEST you may FAIL?

Hey! What's all the hype about second amendment? Although I have WAY MORE TO SAY RIGHT THIS SECOND THAN I AM DISCLOSING - I would like to take the liberty to ask each and every American reader to try to buy an AK-47 right now - and report back with whether or not you could purchase it.

Lemme know what state and reasons for refusal in the comments section so everybody can see.

I know that the difference between our political judicial joke and France is this: We are INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY whereas THEY ARE GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT!

HA HA! C'MON YALL MAMBY PAMBYS! LET'S hear YOUR RHETORIC ABOUT LOSS OF SECOND AMENDMENT!

  1. Michigan. AK 47's are lawful and if you pass a federal check you can apply for full auto permit.

  2. Nice: Thanks commenter above: anybody know the rules for refusal in Virginia?

  3. Wisconsin- Can be purchased, but there will be at least a 3 day wait ('instant' background check, must clear...). No full auto allowed.

  4. In CA we can barely buy a box of wood matches much less an AK47.

  5. An AK-47 which is not switch selectable between semi-auto and full auto is not an AK-47. If there is no full auto function, then I think it is properly designated a Mac-90. If you wish to buy a real AK-47 then you will need to be strictly checked, fingerprinted and pay a large special tax. Of course these restrictions are infringments on your right to keep and bear arms, but then again, the US Constitution is no longer a working document, legally speaking. The Second Amendment is ancient history, and wishing will not make it so.

  6. Arizona, plenty of them out there, if you have a Concealed Carry Permit there is no waiting period. Full auto is another matter entriely, that requires a federal "stamp" and approval takes longer. Plus, full autos are expensive to acquire and feed ;-)

  7. The AK-47 is a full auto, switch selectable, assault rifle. Rifles that are not full auto are not AK-47s. Calling a bicycle a motorcyle does not make it a motorcycle, and calling a semiauto rifle an AK-47 does not make it one.

  8. I could buy a previously $300 semi-auto AK-47 clone for about $650 plus shipping and transfer to my dealer. I can ONLY find them at places like Gun Broker... all the rest are sold out and back ordered with no delivery in the near future.

A real one... last time I looked there were only a handful, since 86 there can't be any more for us mere civilians! Last time I looked it was about $25,000... so no I can't buy one. Besides my local sherrif probably wouldn't sign the ATF's manditory registration papers.

  9. AK-47s cannot be imported into this country anymore.

  10. The Feds are quietly phasing out ammo. They'll never take the guns without a fight, so they're just trying to get rid of the bullets.

  11. Sorry, I can't get a FOID card for another year, due to an "incident" a few years back. I'll report back in Aug, 2010. Until then, it's only straight razors, golf clubs and hatchets for my home defense system.

  12. The rifle in question was just a run-of-the-mill semiauto rifle. The specifics are very important but the fact is it was just a semiauto. No waiting period in Virginia for this type of gun for "normal" people I suppose. Whatever the reason - in my opinion - in that instance my rights were violated without explanation. Am I missing something?

  13. Glad I bought one years ago when they were reasonably priced. SAR 1 and a dozen 30 round mags plus a thousand rounds were all less than $500. Fit and finish terrible, but a chromed barrel, a red dot scope, decent ammo and I can put all 30 rounds in a pie plate at 100 feet real damn fast. Exactly what I got the fucker for.

  16. It seems to me that the more of these things out there the lesser the possibility for violence since balanced forces talk rather than resort to violence

  18. Nice thing about a Kalashnikov is you can wipe your gungrease-covered hands on the stock to clean your hands. I know no other gun that has this feature.

  19. No problem. I checked out a AK47 last week at Boise Gun Company in Boise ID. Cost about $1100. I didn't buy it. Looking for a old one with wood grips.

  20. hey, maybe Sotomayor can have someone shove one of those AK's up her fat gun grabbing ass and ask her about the second amendment then, and maybe intimate that it's just as painful to shove a baseball bat or a sledge hammer up her fat ass in it's place if the guns get grabbed.

what a stupid mexican gun grabbing slut.
