" Macko, a Charlottesville resident, stood next to President Obama as his example of the need to extend jobless benefits.
"We need to extend unemployment compensation benefits for women like Leslie Macko, who lost her job at a fitness center last year, and has been looking for work ever since. Because she's eligible for only a few more weeks of unemployment, she's doing what she never thought she'd have to do. Not at this point, anyway. She's turning to her father for financial support," Obama said in his speech at the White House on July 19th."

In a perfect world -it would not matter that the confirmation of Elena Kagan would be representative of yet a third Jew on our nine-member high court.
ReplyDeleteThis is not however -a perfect world.
You can verify that assertion by asking anyone -if they think this world is perfect -or even- getting more perfect.
Any Senator who votes for Elena Kagan's confirmation is simply out-of-touch with reality, -and- living with the fantastic delusion that they have created a perfect world. -or- that they have in any way made the world -more perfect.
These deluded Senators have become part-and-parcel to a living Hell -where the world is being run by rank idiots.
I am talking to you, -Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins.
