DUNCE ALERT! Charlton Library Sends Police To Collect Overdue Books From 5-Year-Old

Read below about the kid the cops scared the hell out of for their paycheck

From HERE:

"CHARLTON (CBS) – A Charlton mom says her local library crossed the line when they sent police to collect her daughter’s overdue library books.

Her mom says the 5-year-old girl was so afraid that she burst into tears.

Even Sgt. Dowd admits he wasn’t real keen on it.
“Nobody wanted to, on this end to get involved in it,” says Sgt. Dowd. “But the library contacted us, and the chief delegated, and apparently I was one of the low men on the totem pole.”"

Note:
How many ways are there to say "stupid?"
As I attempt to write more cogently - I find myself thwarted time and again by the idiotic things police do.  I cannot find the words to describe the idiocy, viciousness, or sadistic services rendered by our nation's finest.  After all - following orders trumps common sense when you're in the PO-LEECE.
What was this cop gonna' do if the kid gave him a hard time - shoot the kid?  Really  - all this over a library book/s?
This is the mentality of many of the police in this country I'm afraid - since they are afraid - of losing their job in this miserable economy.  Hey - scare the crap out of kids for a living right?  - I couldn't do it.
Hi:  I murdered a guy in a bar for nothing 'cause I'm a cop and I can do anything I want!  See below.

Here's another dandy since we're on the subject of stupid cops.  These stories are never hard to find:  LINK HERE
"An altercation allegedly broke out after the police officer told one of the friends 'I’m better at darts than you are', Chris Hull, 39, told Patch.com.
'My buddy says, "Aw, you suck at darts". (The man) says, "That’s why I’m a cop, I can do whatever I want to do".'
Hull tsaid his friend asked; 'Really, you can do anything?'
The police officer then pulled out his gun, Hull claimed and after the group repeatedly asked him to put it away he 'pops three rounds into my friend Sam'.
The ten-year department veteran appeared  at the Southwest Justice Center in French Valley in a red prison uniform, on Friday charged with murder.""

Yep - isn't that grand?  These are the people we are counting on to protect our rights.

Don't you feel "safe?"

Do you still believe that only the police should have guns?

Do you really believe that cops wouldn't follow orders to "take you away" if that's the orders they've been given?

Better wake up...
